A group from Al-Shurouq school for the Blind participated in the Talented Child Camp

A group from Al-Shurouq school for the Blind participated in the Talented Child Camp, by gracious invitation from our friends at Inad Center for Theater and Arts. The workshops included voice and singing training, drama and theatrical performance exercises, expressive dance, as well as drawing and handicraft sessions. The children’s talents emerged freely in an inclusive and safe environment. The camp stood as a successful model of inclusion, where Al‑Shurouq blind students participated side‑by‑side with their sighted peers in all activities without discrimination, reinforcing the notions of acceptance and diversity and creating space for spontaneous, human interaction. The students also enjoyed delightful evenings in the dormitory alongside their teacher, Intisar Abu Sunina, engaging in various social activities.
