Al-Shurooq's Center for Children with Learning Difficulties addresses challenges in fundamental mental processes that affect language comprehension and usage. These difficulties can affect hearing, memory, speech, writing, spelling, or math skills, resulting in ongoing struggles in school.

Recognizing this need, the leadership of Al-Shurooq School for Blind Children is considering expanding its services. They aim to launch an evening center dedicated to supporting children facing learning difficulties. This initiative seeks to increase awareness about distinguishing learning difficulties from slow learning or academic underachievement. Additionally, the center plans to provide evening rehabilitation sessions and engaging activities.

The center's focus will be on children aged 3 to 10 with various needs like autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, language delays, ADHD, behavioral issues, academic delays, and learning difficulties. Specially trained teachers and staff with expertise in rehabilitation will lead tailored programs, including psychological, educational, behavioral, speech therapy, skill development, and occupational therapy. These programs, offered through individual and group sessions, along with recreational activities, aim to enhance their skills and abilities.

The center is currently in the construction phase, gearing up to provide comprehensive support to children with diverse learning needs.
