Occupational Therapy
Within Al Shurouq School's mission to foster self-reliance in the next generation, Occupational therapy enhances children's independence in their daily activities. This includes orientation and mobility, pre-braille skills, cognitive skill development, sensory issue management, and the improvement of interaction and communication abilities.
Additionally, OT provides children with appropriate assistive devices and equips teachers with customized adaptations for each student based on their individual optical/visual specialist's assessments.
Speech Therapy
In recognition of the value of a holistic approach, Al Shurooq School has introduced a Speech therapy service. This service is designed to address cognitive development, expressive and comprehensive language skills, verbal and non-verbal communication, enhancement of children's conceptual understanding, stuttering, sound production difficulties, and the remediation of learning challenges.
Physical Therapy
Al Shurooq School's physical therapy program aims to enhance children's independent mobility. It emphasizes lower limb development, encompassing muscle strengthening, locomotion improvement, and gait enhancement, the acquisition of skills such as climbing stairs, static and dynamic balance, and mastery of various body positions.
