Elementary School
Al Shurooq School's Elementary stage encompasses classes from the first grade to the fifth grade.
These classes address the educational needs of blind and visually impaired children aged six and older, provided they demonstrate the necessary academic capabilities to participate actively in the Palestinian national curriculum.

The curriculum focuses on providing comprehensive instruction in Braille to blind and low-vision children at risk of losing sight in the future, enabling them to develop their reading and writing skills.
However, students with stable, non-changing visual impairments receive specialized education using assistive tools and magnifiers. This approach ensures that all students, regardless of their visual condition, receive the appropriate support to develop their reading and writing abilities.
Thus, the objective of Al Shurooq's Elementary School is to prepare these students for a smooth transition into mainstream Palestinian schools, facilitating their continued progress within the same curriculum
